This year’s family trip went to Madeira. My parents were already on the island, my brother and I were flying in from Stuttgart. We got our own rental car. On the Island we did a little round-tour and stayed at 4 different places. I really enjoyed Madeira. Hiking at the Levadas is easy, the landscape looks different around every corner. Highlight was the hike on the top of the Island between and on top of the highest mountain. From the weather it was very mixed – we only had one really bad day.
