Thank you swine flu. For exact 400€ I got my flight from Stuttgart via Paris to Mexico City and back – with Air France. This time I only stayed for a little longer than 2 weeks. Of course we travelled around. A city I really liked was Taxco which has a nice stile. It is famous for all the silver shops. Again we visited Puebla. From Puebla we continued via Oaxaca. Highlight is Monte Alban. From Oaxaca we took a Bus to Mitla and visited the „Frozen Waterfall“ (Agua Hierve) and also we visited a huge local market. With the nightbus (horrible) it took 10 hours to Puerto Escondido were we spent some nice days at the beach. From there we flew back to Mexico city. Due to the swine flu all hotels were empty, almost no tourists in the country. We got some really good prices for very good rooms, especially in Taxco.
On of my highlights was the visit of Estadio Azteco to watch a football match Mexico vs Trinidad + Tobago.
