This weekend was the only time this year for me that felt a little bit like winter. With the company football team we went to a hut in the Kleinwalsertal, Austria. Here we stayed for two nights. For skiing the snow wasn’t good enough, so I went winter-hiking instead. This is possible in the Ifen Area. You have to take the chairlift Ifenbahn and Hahnenköpflebahn (for expensive 20 Euros). From the top it is just a small walk to the (very windy) Hahnenköpfle at 2085m. Afterwards we did a round tour on the Gottesacker before having a warm gulash soup :). It was possible to hike in normal walking boots, all routes were prepared for hikers only.

Second day we had to leave the hut at 10am – on the way back in Oberstdorf we visited a ski jump (Heini Klopfer Skiflugschanze) and I took the little train like thing to the top with a nice view around.

Due to the weather the pictures did not come out that great 🙁
