While in Germany the temperatures were getting warmer and warmer I flew to Finland back into the cold. A friend of mine (Iliana) was doing a semester in Vaasa, so I was visiting her with another friend (Dani). In the beginning we stayed in Vaasa to get used to the cold temperatures and the Sauna in the student flat :). Afterwards we got a rental car and drove all the way up to Rovaniemi directly at the Arctic Circle. On the way we also visited Oulu and Kemi where we could walk on the frozen Baltic ocean. Back in Vaasa we took the plane to Helsinki. For a 2 day trip we took the ferry to Estona (Tallin). Tallin is much more nicer than Helsinki with the Baltic touch (and a lot cheaper prices). Worth a visit.
