Finally some days in the Autrian Alps (Bregenzerwald) – due to the bad weather this was my first trip this year to this region. Usually I go for a daytrip – but this time with some friends for 4 days on a hut (Schwendehof) above Fontanella. If you stay 3 nights in this region you get a free pass for all chairlifts and gondolas. Sadly the weather did not show from its best side, at least we got lucky and had no heavy rain while hiking. The first destination was the highest mountain in Bregenzerwald – Glatthorn 2134m. I totally forgot that I was there 4 years ago. In the afternoon the sun came out and we went to a viewpoint above the little village Sonntag. The other day we did a roundrip at Damüls visiting two summits (Hochblanken – 2068m, Ragazer Blanken 2051). The third day we just took a gondola from Bezau up to a viewpoint – but the view and weather was really bad.
