For just 400€ per Person we got a flight AND hotel from Friedrichshafen to the Island of La Palma (Canary Islands). The Island is famous for its outdoors and volcanos. For a couple of days we got a rental car and drove around the city. Personal highlight was the sunset on top of the highest point (from where you could see Teide on Tenerifa) and the hike in the old volcano below (caldera de taburiente). Also fantastic was the Route de los Vulcanos. A taxi took us up to the starting point, then we hiked all day along all the craters. The weather and views were just beautiful. On the way back we took the bus. What you can not do on the Island is laying on the beach – there is almost none and if just with black volcanic sand. Perfect destination if it is cold in Germany.
