Another camping roadtrip. The tour started in San Francisco. We stayed 2 nights at the beach on the way to LA. The campground in LA was a little outside the town in the mountains. Like last time I did not really like LA. Next destination was San Diego. At the time we were there they were training for the Red Bull Air Race in the harbor. Also I visited the Aircraft carrier. A big highlight was Grand Canyon. Before actually seeing it I took a helicopter ride. Amazing!!! The next day we hiked down. During the days it got quite warm, at night freezing… We visited some more National Parks: Canyonlands NP, Arches NP and Bryce Canyon. On the way to Vegas we stopped at Zion NP. In Vegas I only had one night before heading back to Germany.
